About Us

Our Story

The Funmi Adetifa Care Foundation (FACF) was born out of a burden , a burden to heal, empower, and uplift the most vulnerable among us: women facing mental health struggles, widows left unsupported, and girls who’ve never had a fair chance. What started as quiet conversations with women battling emotional wounds in silence grew into a vision to educate, equip, and empower. FACF was founded with one core belief: when a woman is well ; emotionally, mentally, and economically, the communities thrive. Through workshops, community outreaches, and intentional care programs, we exist to change narratives and restore dignity.

Founder's Message

Indigent families are the roots of our society, the storytellers of history, guardians of wisdom, and the hands that built our very foundation. Yet, with age, many face silence, loneliness, and significant challenges, particularly in health and daily living. These battles are often fought quietly, with dignity, and too often, without deserved support.

This deep, personal burden is why The Funmi Adetifa Care Foundation was established: a calling to bring healing, hope, and empowerment to our society’s most vulnerable. We are dedicated to empowering and supporting our beloved elders and vulnerable families through mental health awareness, educational support, and emotional wellness.

We don’t just offer charity; we restore dignity. We don’t just donate; we declare that no one will be forgotten. Remember, true giving extends beyond material offerings—it’s about the heart with which we give. When we invest in older adults, we invest in our past and shape a future brimming with compassion.

Our Vision

A society where every woman is mentally sound, emotionally supported, and economically empowered to thrive.
